Stereos, amps, phone kits, Navi...

I actually think that data is on the DVDs already...it's just that our Satnav can't access it. Definately one for Subaru to answer - can Subaru upgrade the firmware on the Kenwood 1200 (which is an already modified DV3200) to enable additional functionality?

Not sure if this has been answered yet. I just downloaded the V14 via BitTorrent and burned the data to a DL DVD. It all works and includes Eastlink.

Happy to eloborate if anyone wants more detail.

I know this is a long shot but I have to ask...

Anybody in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane tried to add the Kenwood DVA-TM320 TMC tuner to their Kenwood 1200 (KNA-DV3200) Satnav?

TMC is essentially delivery of real time traffic information (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traffic_Message_Channel)

I'm in Canberra so it's kinda useless for me but would be interesting to know if TMC-RDS just works as it's meant to be a worldwide standard and there is currently transmissions in those capital cities.

Is Eastlink a tollway? (what new road isn't nowadays I guess)

Did you enable the routing preference to allow toll roads?

If you have then it's strange it wouldn't prefer that route since it's obviously quicker.

Yeh I always allow toll roads, v14 maps were brought out before Eastlink opened in July of last year though. I had the same problem with TomTom, until I upgraded to v7...

Hrmm - 50 pounds - almost tempting to get it (my sister is on her way home from the UK for a short visit, might be worth trying...)
