Double Din Kits

Postby Jayraddd » Mon Dec 10, 2012 7:24 pm

Trying to find a Double Din Facia for my car.
Its a 2006 MY07 Liberty.

I've been hunting around but not really had any lucky.. maybe i'm blind :/

Though I finally found this one.. http://www.avojdm.com/product_info.php?cPath=26_54_60&products_id=200&osCsid=646baf820a0bbe966e127c15424644c2
But it's costs a bit.. is there any cheaper ones around ?

Nope, With postage it'll be closer to $440. Send garage88 an email, Michael will sort it out for you and most likely be a tad cheaper than avo.

Dam, that's unfortunate =[

Thanks though. I'll keep that email in mind when the time comes for a stereo pimp.

I think the difference is Brett's was for Pre-facelift where the climate control is already seperate from the headunit, whereas on the post-face it isn't, therefore you're getting a whole new climate control unit and all where Brett only got the actual headunit surround..

But, $620 is still rediculous on all accounts!!

Ahh, that makes sense.
Dam you post-facelift ! Well not really, I do prefer the look of the post-facelift.

Yea, well I thought 400ish was expensive.. 620 is crazy.

Michael just did my double din fascia kit for my car, and it was 440 delivered. Which in theory is a massive amount but essentially you want it to look good and that's the price you have to pay for making things look good

Although, in saying that my friend had a pre-face and got a cheapo $200 off ebay thinking it would be fine and fit, funnily enough it didn't the hazard light button is on the opposite side on his fascia plate, so that's the price you have to pay for his silly mistake.

Thumbs up to Michael though he knows what he's doing at garage88 :)
One of the youngens, so play nice.

Hey jayradd,
im about to sell a double din fascia from my 2005 liberty. It defintely didnt have seperate climate control assembly to the stereo, so the fascia i have may do the job. I also paid around $440 for mine from memory.

Check the photo attached.

Cheers.

p.s. im aware that the post facelifts have a different colour console.. but if youre looking to do things on a budget it would do the job. Although personally id wait and save the money for the exact one you need.
