Anyone know where to buy a low powered electromagnet for use in the CarPC project, I need it to work off 12v, I've checked Jaycar, Altronics, DSE etc..and can't find a cheap 1?
Any suggestions?

Is this to operate a reed relay?
You could probably remove the plunger from one of their solenoids, and just use the coil...
