I don’t trust this guy - he’s offering v26 maps for a small fee. The official supplier never had a v26 version. The disc he is offering says it’s maps by whereis… who haven’t been supplying the maps for years. The same dodgey deal was offered via gumtree.
My guess is it’s most likely an old map dvd with an updated version number (I’ll happily make you one of these for money too…). When I asked where he got v26 from he said he could just as easily supply me v25

not that it is any of your business, but i purchased it on line at great cost from someone who guaranteed it would work with my SAT NAV. I was told that it was not made by Subaru but by another car manufacturer (yes believe it or not other car manufactures have GPS systems that run on the same system??) these other companies release regular updates for these systems unlike Subaru. Have you called Subaru and asked which of the many maps work with your model car? good luck with that as they will send you to the map people & the map people will send you to Subaru to confirm which map you need..$300 is a lot to spend and no return policy if you get it wrong, that's why they put the onus on YOU to select the correct map...trust me i have been thru this.....anyway moving forward I have used version 25 C2 and know that it was an update but did not show some new round about's on the way to Phllip island for instance, but this version 26 does show them & works fine with my 2009 liberty which had the updated SAT NAV with C2 maps.

not to add fuel to the fire unnecessarily here, but if any of the "updated" disks are from NavigationAU, they are 100% not real updates and are old files renamed. most of the other big nav forums have already confirmed this and can pretty easily be checked.

I mean, they're already peddling V28 2022 for sale
