I don't know if this is helpful or not..The previous owner of my My08 Lib GT. Had the Mcintosh removed and bought the aicon controls out of a different model and installed an awesome Alpine system head unit and a pocket.. It has USB, Bluetooth, CD, AUX, Radio and an awesome phone kit that enables you find contacts and make calls with the stereo buttons, ext mic etc.. It has an Alpine AMP under the passenger seat and a 12" sub peaking into the cabin via the fold down rear seat armrest opening... Sounds fantastic... There is also a Garmin Navigator installed so a single din head unit is all that was needed. Both units are software/maps updatedable.. 8)

Hey, has anyone got the Grom USB3 with the DBR1 DAB radio dongle?

Grom themselves seem to have conflicting info on whether the DBR1 works with the USB3...

Its fairly vague.
I’d say the DAB dongle uses mini DIN plug.

So if your Grom has mini DINs it’s a maybe.

Eg I’m using an old IPD3 with a mini DIN Grom BT dongle...

Another approach to checking compatibility is the Grom release notes for Subaru Legacy firmware updates.

Hi, I have a question regarding my 08 liberty. I have Bluetooth and DVD in my car. I want to listen to music from my phone but I don't know how. I purchased a lighter connection and I can charge my phone through this. I can watch DVDs on the screen and answer my phone through the Bluetooth but no music. Am I just too stupid to work it out or is there a way. Please I would love to know. I love my car, I only just got it and it's great. I had a Mazda 3 before this and it was an 04 model but I could put music though that fine. What am I doing wrong here.
