my06 MCINTOSH installing new sub and amp

Postby jlmanos » Mon Jun 09, 2014 4:12 pm

hey i have an '06 lib with the mcintosh system and my rear sub blew/is rattling, so I'm going to install a 12"MTX sub with 1000w mono block amp..
i know i have to run a new power cable to the battery but does anyone know what i should do in terms of the head unit/existing amp (do i steal the signal from the old sub wiring?)

Fascia kit and new head unit (I loves me some Alpine). It'll make a world of difference

Make sure you get a dedicated sub amp that has a line level or high level input, and preferably a dedicated remote for volume as well :)
If not the standone level converters may be available :)
