replace mcintosh speakers with Alpine TypeS??

Hi,
I have two pair of 6.5" alpine typeS 2ways (not splits) sitting around doing nothing, do I replace the mcintosh speakers? or wont i notice a difference? also in the front do i leave them all connected still or just run the Alpines?
KIDO tune, resonator delete, HSD monopro coilovers, K&N filter, DBA T2 slotted, Intima SR & SS pads

Off the standard amplifier or an aftermarket one?

I don't think you'll see a massive improvement with type-s's. As someone who used to be very heavily into SQ systems, I'm actually reasonably happy with the mcintosh system.
I wouldn't bother replacing them unless I was going for a very high-end setup again
