2007 3.0rb wagon, 6 disc McIntoss . FM is good everywhere in Melb, even quite a long way out of town, but AM is poor even in the outer suburbs... Anybody seen this, have any suggestions please?

remove tailgate trim.. should be an AM amplifier in there. may have shit itself. use wire to check the plug leading to the amplifier, see if you get clear reception
