faulty cd player and sat nav

Hey guys, my cd player won't allow me to insert any cd's and I was thinking of buying one off a wrecker. How hard is it to change or who in Canberra would be my best option to talk to? I was also thinking of getting a sat nav unit, is it a fairly simple switch in to the compartment that is above the unit or is there alot more behind the scenes wiring involved?
