Radio fuzz

Postby Boostaddict » Mon Feb 25, 2013 9:56 pm

Hey peeps,

Got in the car today and I had the rear demister on and switched my macintosh hu on and all I got was some radio but mostly just fuzz.

Switch the rear demister off and back to normal radio!!!!

WTF....!!!

Never had this before!!

Also I have found my quality of my radio stations is shit!!! Very distorted at all volumes.

I do have a parrot blue tooth kit wired up (previous owner) that is currently not working and nor has it ever since I bought the car. Dunno if that has something to do with all of this.

Help

Regards

Dan
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??

They are both on the rear window.. Maybe the ground is bad (they share a common ground screw)?? Not sure, bit of a weird one.

Interesting, never thought to check the ground connection.

Had the radio static with my high powered reverse HIDs, not with the current LEDs. And it seems the brake LEDs also affect the radio, but I try to follow Brad's suggestion and don't brake as much now
