You guys probably know away around the dam "Accessory Connected" screen when connecting your iphone to your early 2005 MacIntosh system that has the Clarion link. This has caused me 5 years of frustration, because you can not access you specific tracks, and realistically you can only really "shuffle" you entire ipod song list or play every single song in alphabetical order. Excruciatingly painful!
However, I just found a very simple $1.99 app that is brillant for this problem. It is an alternative player to the iPod, as the app is unaffected by the plugging into your link. You can simple open the app and it has full access to your entire ipod library. Creating a playlist is incredibly simple too, just a case of dragging the song into the new playlist.
It's called Panamp. It has some pretty crappy reviews, but I'm yet to fault it.
Just thought I'd share.
