iphone 4 + bluetooth pairing

Hi all - I've been trying to figure out how to get my iphone4 permanently paired to the car - both for phone, and for music. I can get it all working, but when I come back to the car the next day, although the audio works the phone pairing has stopped working.

Gah! I've searched the forums but it seems my affliction is unique - if anyone has any tips I'm all ears!

Are you connecting wired via a dock connection/charger & BT at the same time?
Might be dust in the dock connector confusing the issue for eg...

Nope, no wires involved at all - pure Bluetooth.

Its not you its the cars bluetooth its a arse wipe useless system not seen outside 1950 Russia

Subaru are fitting aftermarket bluetooths to some cars as they have given up on a fix.

Take the car/bluetooth back and tell them to stick it.
