Will 6.5 inch speakers fit?

Hi, I recently bought a complete audio setup for my generation four Liberty Wagon (2007) after visiting a local car audio sale. I got myself some 6.5inch Alpine Type R splits (SPR-60C) for the front and a set of 6.5inch coaxial Alpine Typse S speakers for the rear (SPS-600). As I was planning on installing these along with an amp this weekend I began looking at some threads and noticed there have been no mentions of 6.5inch speakers. Does this mean tthe speakers I bought will be too big to fit inside the original door trim.

Front will fit fine, you'll probably need a spacer so it doesn't hit the window though.

As for rears, well no one really bothers with rears so I have no idea if they'll fit.

Would you be able to link me to an appropriate spacer perhaps? Sorry for the stupid questions, I am stupid when it comes to the world of car audio.

I managed to do the front and rear speakers of my left hand side today and found that it was possible to mount 6.5inch woofers for the front and rear. I am mounting Alpine Type Rs at the front and had no issues with depth as some people have previously mentioned on this forum (please don't hold me to that - their situation may have been different). The rear speakers on the other hand were Alpine Type S coaxes which again are a 6.5inch speaker.

I just thought to put the above out there as my two cents of information for those who were planning on upgrading the factory speakers and were unsure about speaker sizing. Although, it is worthwhile to keep in mind that not all 6.5inches may fit due to their mounting depth and that it is a good idea to remove the door trims and factory speaker to determine the mounting depth you have at hand with your window down (sorry I didn't measure this although I shall do this tomorrow if I remember!).
