OP here again.

Ok, just took a deposit for my lib today so I really need to remove my finger. Unfortunately the 08 3.0 that I was going to go look at sold this arvo.
My next pick is an 08 Heritage and it also has a Mc.

My current audio in my MY03 RX is a JVC single DIN with the 6 factory speakers, no amp or sub, and 99.99% of the time I'm using USB stick plugged into the JVC.

So from what I've read if I go with a non-Mc car it's about $400 to replace the facia ?
I've tried some 2DINs and just haven't been that impressed, mostly with lag when browising USB folders.

Of course if I can find another 3.0 that's suitable.
Anyway, back to carsales.

If I planned to change just the HU and not do anything else would a Mc car be a better starting point due to its amp and extra speakers, compared to a non-Mc car ?
Interested because I'd be unlikely to add an amp to a non-Mc car when changing the HU, which is the case with my current MY03

Thanks
