Problem with CD player.. help

Postby TorpedoCreative » Thu Feb 10, 2011 10:02 pm

Hey guys
Just bought a 07 Lib GT and tried the CD player today.. it doesnt appear to have a disc in there (ie no number 1-6 on the display). so I put the disc into the slot and hit load.. but it said "CD 1 busy" then "press eject" so I did that and nothing comes out.. so I tried again, but got the same messages?

The long and the short is that I cant insert a CD.. Anyone else experienced this? Im trying to avoid it but I might have to pry off the fascia and see if there is something jammed in there?

cheers
J

James,

I had a similar message on mine and i had the shits with it and just left it and then once the car warmed up a bit it worked.

It did it a few times after and then nil issues. I also found that it did it when the car was in the shade, but was ok in the sun.....no idea if its connected or not but thats what happened to me.

Hope this helps.
