Love those lights Haz. Whatever business you're in to be able to afford all these mods at once, I should be in ;)

Looks good Harry! Once the Teins go on you'll have to put up a profile page to detail all your mods!

Pity only the wagons get the LED's. But the sedan consolation prize is the taillight tints at least.

^^^ Georgie, are yours the full LED units? If so, that could be the issue.

I know that when a mate of mine installed LED everything into his VW it started to throw up all sorts of lights... He landed up removing the LED tail lights & all was good.

I have to admit, if a major company like Hanabi didn't do full LED tail lights, there could infact be a reason for it... Mind you, a relay kit or something like that may sort it out.

There's some discussion of this in the July issue of Silicon Chip magazine.
There's a proposed solution using a relay shown here: http://siliconchip.com.au/cms/A_112042/article.html

That's showing the entire braking circuit, for two different types of car.
The modification is just: One relay, one diode, and one resistor.

Edit:
Relay: $5.95 http://jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=SY4070 (30A SPDT)
Diode: $0.50 http://jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=ZR1004 (1N4004)
Resistor: $0.40 http://jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=RR3242 (4.7 ohm 5 Watt)

Great article Ric, bookmarked. I initially though the series resistor setup would work, as used for LED indicator lamp conversions (to stop them flashing so fast).
