There used to be a good place in Phillip but a) I can't recall the name and b) I am not sure if they are even there anymore. Will check the yellow pages and see if anything rings a bell. Surely we have to have at least one good detailer in this town?

Haven't heard anything about them but I was almost t-boned when I drove past on the weekend, had to slam on my brakes to miss the speeding M5 lol.

I don't want someone to wash it. I want someone professional to give it a good solid once over and remove some swirl marks and buff out a few small scratches I have put on the tail gate thanks to my kayak etc. I might try a place in Fyshwick that I got the name out of the yellow pages. They have a special at the moment with a 'gold service' (i.e. the works) for just under $200.

That's the one! I plan on calling them tomorrow and having a chat about it all and seeing how they go about it all. Might drop by and let them check the car before I book in so they know what I expect of them - and I can get a feel for aht they are like too. That deal is a good one because it's a total exterior/interior clean and detail (including cut and polish).

I'll let you guys know how I go. I want to get it done soon as a mate of mine wants to do a photoshoot of my car with the new gear on it.

Cheers Laps, that's the kind of thing I was after. If they can do well on a black car then mine should not be an issue.
