Sorry Shane. I thought any mod/add-on that didn't benefit performance was considered rice? But good to know where CF sits! :D

well well hey?

maybe so.. but it all depends how you talk about kits :P

correct me if I am wrong ;)

BUT if your trying to refer to me, be hard to beat my answer lol...

Mine is a gen imported kit from Japan for my model, quality workmanship, real fiber glass, a kit that has the correct shape of the car, keeps the shape line as well.. fits straight on there is no issues with fitment (besides that AU sizes are diff to JAP in the rear) an doesn't look out of place... finished product for the gelcoat, so you just spray straight away!! plus already made for FMIC 8)

On the other hand, when you get people that are like 16 (no offense behavin :P) they get a kit from Jetspeed or some other cheap mob in AU they will not fit, they don't have the correct alignment to suit the car, they don't have the shape of the car, an just basically looks like a box, maybe more so like a cornflake packet :) there fiber glass is shit, there quality of workman ship is shit, they don't even look good in the gelcoat! they will need to spend a lot of time on it to get fixed before spray, never the less! so basically you get what you pay for there.. which is shit HAHAHA

An I know you love my kit

An there are a few people on here with gen kits too :)

That's my back up

My take on your examples:

example 1: Rice
example 2: Shit

It's alright, we're not going to kick you out of the Rice Police for it

Mano... I was expecting a bit more colourful language in your response :P I'm sure Jim will be very disappointed

Your kit looks great & you know it :D ... Just got to get you saying Hippo-Sleek the correct way ;)

As impractical as your kit is (dude, that is way way too low for Aussie roads), you know we all love it, Mano. :give_heart: And yes, your sparse use of profanity was quite disappointing.

But I think the point people were trying to make is that the CF badge and the body kit are pretty similar. Both are high quality JDM products (K2 Gear ain't no ghetto gear company). Both give no performance benefits. Both give added visual appeal. And lastly, both replace an already existing part on the car. So to call the badge rice would be inferring that the Hippo-Sleek is also rice.
