Hi All
Looking to change my crappy chrome Outback headlights and like the look of these;
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2006-09-Sub ... 1438.l2649 Do the Liberty lights fit straight onto the Outback (same generation)?
I know I could black them out myself too but just seeing what's out there.
Tim

These are postfl, so they’ll fit right up to your postfl outback, if it was originally equipped with hid’s.
Pre and postfl:

The blacked out, no washers headlights I got from Malaysia were otherwise identical, looked like the auto levelling unit was part of the assembly.

Good point.
I was hoping you’d chime in.
Its probably the same unit that does manual levelling in markets other than aus.

Hmm... Guess I should've tried to plug one in before I mounted them, and tested the levelling.
...Hang on, how is the auto levelling supposed to work? It can't use gravity, or hills and Gs would mess with it big time. Wouldn't you need sensors for suspension articulation?

Yep, one sensor on the front suspension and one on the rear.
Measures the pitch of the body.
