Gen4 pre/post facelift differences

Postby Kimmo » Thu Oct 29, 2020 6:27 pm

So I've got a MY07, and I'm jelly of the pre-fl headlights as a basis for modding, but I'm told by hks180, who would totally know about headlights, that I'd need pre-fl bar and guards too!

Now, I could've sworn those lights should share the same shaped aperture in the bodywork, but then I did waste ten bucks at the wrecker since my car's missing a trim piece at the edge of the scuttle, and I figured any Gen4 should do for that, but nooo...

That's a hell of a facelift, changing all this stuff that anyone would assume is identical. Can anyone tell me the extent of this madness?

Googled it for you, please note how I made the search... please...

Please diy research, then ask questions based on research.
You’re only a n00b for as long as you choose to be one IME :P

Take a look at my FSM & parts faq link in my signature if you want to know more about parts equivalence and self serve wreckers.

No really, site search on forums reaps all kind of rewards!

Alas it can’t work for FB, but the built in search is improving.

It is very very easy to understand the differences between Pre-Face Lift and Post-Face-Lift Libertys.

The Pre-Face-Lift is Pre-Post-Face-Lift and the Post-Face-Lift is Post-Pre-Face-Lift

See, I told you that it was easy!
