I just got a my08 3.0R spec.B wagon a week ago and it comes with a tow hook. I would like to remove it and it will leave a square blank so I'm looking for a replacement bumper and I found a used one on Yahoo Auction JP. Just want to know if it will fit for a jdm rear bumper onto an audm model.

It does, but jdm bumpers are shorter due to different rear impact standards.
I’m sure there’s a diy jdm bumper refit post here. Its a popular mod as it looks great!

Now I'm trying another solution for the tow bar hole but still waiting for the shipment from Japan

I’d love to do the swap.
And keep my towbar!

Which would probably mean redrilling the pin hole using a mag drill and then lopping the rest.

I went looking for George 3.0LR’s member profile which has/had the JDM bar swap info but couldn’t find it.

I’m sure there’s one on here somewhere tho
