Newbie Help with Wheels, Exhaust, small exterior mods

Postby lukecanna » Sat Jul 13, 2019 10:46 pm

Hi,
Im new to the game as i just bought a 2008 Subaru Liberty Wagon 3.0R Spec.B 4GEN in a 6 speed manual

I want help with what i should do first.
Im looking at getting the xforce 2.5' catback exhaust anyone got one? good reviews?
And ive looked but cant find any aftermarket headlights or taillights but i did find the jdm model headlights which i like.
Anddd with my looking through this page cant really find what wheelspecs and tyres i should be looking for without having any rubbing or fender rolling issues.

Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Search the forum like this with keywords.
https://www.google.com.au/search?biw=32 ... 4eLE5jxxZQ

Look at the skid factory h6 turbo YouTube vid:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UhJgvKnuIZg
Old m8 discusses the n/a aspect with particular regard to the restriction in the stock system.

For n/a the vid recommendation is headers cats and cat back and tune... for e85 if available to you.
Raptor headers are affordable.

Look for hanabi, liberal or mars taillights, to me the stock postfl tails are best, just get great bulbs imho.

18 8.5 + 45 is master flush, with coilovers and some guard work.
Use a rim and tyre calculator like http://www.willtheyfit.com to extrapolate what might work.
Eg using that sizing as a guide, 18 8 +45 should fit without rubbing as 1/4” was deducted from the offset or rim poke.

Moar later.

I am not at all familiar with the h6 so this may be irrelevant. I recently bought an 07 Lib GT with lots of goodies but with a stock exhaust that was quiet and had NO Subi turbo rumble so i bought a 2nd hand but only 6 months old xforce twin system.. It fitted straight on like a glove and it looks and sounds soo much better. It made very little difference to performance but at least it sounds like a Subaru should sound..
