It's probably been said 100 times but What are the differences between the JDM & AUDM Liberty cosmetic wise? I am hoping to get a Liberty for my 1st car and putting on some JDM cosmetic parts and maybe some performance upgrades if I want to.

JDM Gen4 stuck with the 2l twin scroll on the postfl gt, the front and rear bars are different depending on Pre/post & body type.
JDM options included folding mirrors, manual headlight leveling, heated seats and windscreen, reclining wagon rear seat, sedan rear wiper and alloy control arms front & rear...

For Gen3 lookup cruisn’s wagon here and on subyclub, iirc he jdm’d most things

I just searched JDM Legacy Parts & found out the differences for the JDM vs AUDM GEN3 Legacy/Liberty & Lancaster/Outback.

Gen 4 wagon also gets LED reverse light.

I don't think I've logged in here for a few months!

Would AUDM be more similar to USDM or JDM? In terms of exterior panels and such.

USA didn’t get the postfl exterior treatment, but their spec B got the JDM alloy suspension arms f&r and the 6mt ...

Iirc the wagons had outback style roof rails that sit on longitudinal bulges on the roof, not the flush rails we have.

AFAIK, USA never had the jdm/eudm 2.0t twinscroll... they were all 2.5t (I could be really wrong on that point tho)

Cheers bigBADbenny. Main reason i'm asking is because i've heard USDM owners have had to modify their bumpers to fit JDM grills; was wondering if I would need to do the same.

JDM aftermarket grilles eg K2, Corazon appear to fit ours just fine with respect to pre/post aka rev A-C and D-F respectively.
