Big knob installation

Postby tomeford » Sat Jun 17, 2017 8:18 pm

I'm experimenting with some audio gear and I'm looking for a place to install a nice big knob.
In my fifth Gen Liberty, there is a coin tray between the gear stick and cup holders which on some models is an SI-drive selection dial.

Does anyone know how I can track one of them down? I'm thinking I can use the SI drive cover to insert a big knob in my coin slot.
:?

You can see the part i'm after in the attached picture

Try a wrecker or Ebay sellers who advertise Gen5s that they're disassembling. I can look up the Part# if you want to buy it new, but you'll get a shock what they're worth. On a Gen4 for example, they're just under $400.

At a wrecker, you could also get them to pull any other trim piece you might need to make it fit your centre console.
