Has anyone on here removed the plastic bonnet scoop insert on a Gen 5.

Im wraping the car but aren't sure how to remove it?

Also, I should mention its a Gen5 gt

I've removed one on the Gen4, there's a bunch of screws and stuff under the bonnet under the heat protection stuff, it's pretty straightforward.

Question, what would be the benefit of that? More airflow?

He's removing it to wrap the car with a vinyl wrap, then replacing it.

Yeah, I had a look at removing it a little while ago but it looked like it had plastc pins that are mealted together.
I better have better look under the heat protection.
