I have an early Gen 4 sedan with smoked tail lights (done by previous owner)
Just looking for anywhere that will sell some good aftermarket replacements, as the smoking was done poorly and the lights are difficult to see

Not sure what LED lights has to do with it, but I assume you've tried the wreckers? If you can pull your light surrounds out (usually 3 or 4 bolts behind a flap in your boot), you should be able to get a part number. You could also try retailers like Repco or Super Cheap Auto, they can usually order the surrounds in. Failing that, try contacting your local subaru dealer. Also, keep an eye on gumtree, occasionally you'll see someone selling parts.
