Postby THE SpecB » Sun Mar 01, 2015 7:16 pm

Sorry if this has been asked before. After more matching in color LED for Parkers as at the moment they are rather purple as opposed to HID headlight white. Anyway of matching better and where do I buy thanks

Look for LED's to match the colour temp of your headlights.

So if you are stock, thats 4300K iirc.

Or if aftermarket, 5000K or 6000K.... etc.

Try Leo here, or Blingwork in Melbourne, or ebay even...

4300k should be the parker colour to match the stock HID.

I haven't been able to find any LEDs in that temperature. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I can't find any!

I have Philips X-treme Vision LED Parker lights. They are a really good match to my stock HIDs :).

Let me know if you want me to post a picture. I have one on the computer at home.

Ok, here it is. Sorry for the slow reply - long day at work and things to do before I could log on.

I could only order the Philips X-treme Vision LEDs from overseas. But after a quick Ebay search, I found them and they arrived in under 2 weeks. You may find them locally, but i didn't (not even online in Australia).

Try searching for what mine were officially called: "Philips X-treme Vision LED W5W T10 6000K Xenon White"

I know that technically 6000K is too blue to match our stock HIDs, but I think they are a really good match. Philips make really nice white glowing bulbs.

I have Osram 4000K W5W LEDs in my R32, matches the Philips 85122 bulbs nicely.
Ordered some Philips 4000K W5W LEDs, so can do a comparison between them two once they arrive.

Well I found a pair of new Osram 4000K LEDs laying around. I should clean my room lol.
Philips 85122 in OEM HID projectors.

Same bulbs on my GT-R

It matches the GT-R's projectors better (Morimoto FX-R).

A quick ebay search and these are up atm. The last two are the same shape as mine, the others seem to have the same specs but look different. The second last one mentions XTreme Vision on the packaging, but the last one does not. Packaging seems to vary a lot, but the item is still the same.
EDIT: On closer inspection, the last one says Blue Vision on the box. Confusing how the specs can be the same (6000K) but have different branding. So the second last one is the one that's an exact match.

Tom, you're a legend.

I order that second last link as soon as you posted and they match perfectly. Fitted them last night! First couple of seconds when the HID's warm up, it's off a litt,e but when they're at full brightness, it's a great match.

Thank you very much. :)
