Seat Covers for 2008 Liberty

Postby davidnewtown » Sun Jul 13, 2008 10:53 am

Hi All,

I've just bought a new Liberty and it comes with the fabric seats. I'd like to protect the fabric with seat covers. Can anyone suggest a good brand that fits the Liberty seats well?

I can see a variety of seat covers in KMart that mostly claim to fit all cars, does it matter which one I choose?

Cheers,

David

Well EJ25 is right, according to their website the side airbags come out of the sides of the seats:
http://www.subaru.com.au/about-subaru/a ... -Air-Bags/
Click on Multiple SRS Air Bags

So that means no seat covers? Or special ones.

EJ25, why does it say in your response, "Liberty Hater"?

Subaru Japan seat covers for the Legacy

Thanks for that, I found the web page at http://www.parts-finder.jp/fs/subaru/c/gr4

There's a Casual Seat Cover (A$400) at http://www.parts-finder.jp/fs/subaru/gr4/gd66 and a Sporty Cover (A$300) at http://www.parts-finder.jp/fs/subaru/gr4/gd67.

There's even an 'all weather' set. However the first 3 on the page are the full price for the whole set including being professionally installed. So I'd have to ship the car to Japan.
:(

Has anyone bought seat covers from Japan? Or KMart?

A picture tells a thousand words, stuntgirl. Thanks.

Maybe a lambswool seat cover that doesn't cover the sides.

[quote="davidnewtown"]WHat the heck does 'ricey' mean? Cheesy? Cheap? :?

Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements. (R.I.C.E.)Parts put on cars to make them look fast, when they have no internal tuning, and are actually slow as hell. Parts usually consist of excessivley angular bodykits, large rear spoilers, neon, sponsor stickers, chrome rims, fake "coffee can" exhaust tips, and loud, annoying paint jobs and/or vynils. Sometimes parts are do-it-yourself installed and are basically duct taped to the car. Most commonly known for being done to early model Hondas

Hope this helps
