yep 20% on the fronts will give the best match, also you need to 35% to rear window for a total uniform look.

I found on the 08 gt specb tb sti needed the rear window done as it was a lighter then the rest.

is it not illegal?? to the point of insurance being void??

as hot as it looks, thats what i thought anyway..

and as far as im aware, its just 20% tint used by whoever fitted the rest of it.

Just rip the privacy tint off and re-do it the same.

IMO opinion the privacy tint looks crap with the light and dark. The reason I get the tint is so thatm it protects the people in the front of the car, which is where it is most needed.

I have 18% which is great, minus the 2% standard, I'm at 16% and it's awesome.

Not the best at reversing at night but looks the goods.

hey Tony, do you have any pics? Im not soo worried about how dark it looks, but more so how well matched the front to back is...

I can get 18% on the fronts for $100 but I just want to make sure it goes..

thanks

You have to post the images themselves somewhere else, like photobucket.
Then you can paste the address here inside "img" tags.

I had 35% tint installed on front windows only and left the rear windows alone. Tint a Car said they could not match the rear privacy tint (greenish colour).
