Rear diffuser!

Postby Nooobness » Fri Nov 07, 2014 12:16 pm

Hey Guys :D

I've got a towbar on my 2005 3.0r sedan, and I want to get it removed because I dont like the look of it
And I realise there's going to be a hole in diffuser when the bar is gone :?

Does anyone know where to get a cheap/good quality diffuser from?
Ive looked into the ultrex ones but I think it's too flashy and am not convinced by the quality

That being said, I'm happy to get rid of my tow bar for dirt cheap when it's off if anyone's looking for one

Cheers!

I'm interested in the same thing. I wonder what's the quality of the CF ULTREX diffuser.

Not sure about the CF one but I bought the plain Diffuser and sprayed it Black Myself. IMO it doesn't look too flashy compared to some JDM aftermarket ones but fitment was a bit of a task.

I' ve actually used automotive silicone and screws to hold mine in place as I'm going to leave it on permanently. Yes, it's fibreglass.

Hey guys I recently removed my towbar from my 2005 Subaru Liberty 3.0R b spec, I fitted the ultex carbon fibre rear diffuser and it looks mint!!! It's a really high material quality, it is a tight fit! I am using sikaflex glue and screw the bottom off, even the it is expensive I personally recommend that one, I'll put photos up in a few days when it's 100%complete!

I would love to see photos of the Ultrex rear diffuser installed on anyone's car. I have considered buying one to cover a tow bar hole as well, but going by the photos on the Ultrex site, their diffuser doesn't look like it fits well at all.
