What are people's thoughts on Grapple spacers or spacers in general
From what I've heard they are Subaru specific

Wheel spacers?
Under 5mm slip on is ok on the stock studs - but why bother, what's 5mm going to? Unless you need brake clearance.
Any bigger than 5mm you need bolt on (or extended studs).

I want the wheels to fill out the guards better and give it a more stance look and road presence
plus it would give it wider/fatter look
No break up upgrading as of yet...
Can you trust the spacer?

You'd need like 25mm spacers to 'fill the guards', but then you've still got 7" wide wheels.
I wouldn't bother.

You can trust spacers if you torque the wheels up correctly and re-check them every now and again.

I agree, just leave it until you buy wheels with the exact specs you want. Plus if cops happen to know their stuff and see it then you'll have some trouble.

Also, in Vic (and I assume all other states) spacers are not permitted under roadworthy regulations.

As above, get some wheels that give the look you are after.

Spacers (and PCD adapters) are illegal on road-driven cars in all Australian states and territories, unless they were factory-fitted (and thus received ADR approval).

But I bought it like that mr officer, so what is the best way to do this? I am too intrigued and would like to keep my stock rims as I like them

If you're caught with them, you'll be defected. If you have an accident and the insurer thinks they contributed, you'll lose your insurance.
