Mod advice needed!!

Postby Nooobness » Wed Jul 16, 2014 1:21 am

Hey guys!
I recently purchased a MY05 3.0R and am absolutely loving it! However, I want to change it up a bit cosmetically to create a sportier look
My budget is around $1500, so my question is, how do you guys recommend that I best spend this money to do the car up a bit?

At the moment, this is what I have in mind:

- New rims (Can someone recommend any that are similar to the TBSTI?)
- Remove current spoiler and install a lip spoiler (is this possible?)
- Change rear bumper to a facelifted version (again, is this possible?)
- And any other suggestions welcome!!

I'm looking forward to some of your advice! Just throw them out! Thanks guys!

Jon

Here's a pic of my car for you guys!

All the mods you've mentioned are possible if you don't use genuine/JDM (apart from rear bumper obviously) parts but your budget is still a bit low. Even second hand 18 inch wheels with rubber will knock off $1k from your budget.

I'd do rims, front lip, rear bumper then spoiler. Mufflers will also change the look of your car and release a bit more of the awesome H6 sound.

Remove eyelids, buy the 18's from the parting wreck.
Then get matts tune (aka kido tune).
Save up for raptor headers and then cats etc.
Enjoy sporty stealthy motoring :)

I got the vibe he's after a bit of rice, not performance.

But good suggestions none the less :)

You'll also need to increase your budget to do the mods that Benny recommended.
