Will this spoiler fit my '08 liberty 2.5i (facelifted)

Found a guy on eBay that sells the replica spoilers for the 4GEN Subaru Liberties that I was after. Was about to buy, but bumped into some doubts.

Heres the situation: - I've called the dealer a few days ago and was told that these spoilers only fit on the older Liberties (pre-facelifted), ie. 03-06. And they don't stock them (discontinued) because they don't fit the newer ones. However I've heard that what I was told was just BS. And I saw a Lib 07 model + with this spoiler on it just yesterday (unsure if its been customised to fit or not).

Does anyone who's fitted one of these know whether they would bit on the late series 4Gen Libs? As I compared the boot lid with a 04 Lib at the parking lot the other day and they appear the same size and shape?

Any suggestions and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.

yep should fit, as it looks liek it does. one thing but, i think it requires drilling on the boot.
