Hi all,

Does anyone know if the lens for the third brake light can be replaced?
Or do you need the entire light assembly?

Slipped putting the kayak on the roof this morning and cracked the lens. It was bound to happen cos its a bit awkward.
:(

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Looks like its probably the entire unit that has to be replaced.

Quick update, managed to pickup a replacement light for $65 shipped from a wreckers.
Pretty easy to install, hardest part was feeding the rear window washer line through the rubber grommet.

That pdf in the above link wasn't quite right.

1) Take off the top rear trim. Start removing the sides then un-clip the middle section
2) All up there are 5 nuts that need to be unscrewed. Two on the outside, one in the middle and two inside the hatch cavity (where the wiring feeds through)
3) Remove the two plastic covers, you'll see two white clips. Use a pair of pliers to gently squeeze these together.
4) Unclip the wiring plug (just to the right of the centre of hatch)
5) Close boot and then spoiler will gently lift off. The light unit unscrews and you need to remove the rubber grommet and push through the window washer line
6) Screw replacement light in and put it all back together
