Why not? If people want to paint their calipers, then they can. If you don't want to paint yours, don't.

I'm considering the same thing peady. I've got the Newport Blue car, I saw the video of Jackson's car in his 320kW ATW posts, and he has orange calipers, and that seems to go well with the Newport Blue. It'd look good on your car too I reckon... :)

Yeah I think it looks awesome on jacksons car... I wanted a bright colour too but I chickened out as I was worried it wouldnt suit the spec b wheels. With your new wheels it would look great though!

So what you're saying is "No offence, but...". Goes well with "I'm not racist/sexist/a bigot, but...".

You'd have been better to say "I decided not to paint mine" or even "I'd just leave mine stock", or even "I'm not sure why people paint theirs". Those would be perfectly legitimate statements to make.

:)

Or you could continue to rub people up the wrong way because you refuse to take advice. Your call.

Aaaaaaaaanyway... i love the passion for my calipers, but ive locked in black now :D
Ive decided that id really like the mods on my car to remain subtle, and black calipers are just the right thing for that look i think. Something that only a car guy would ever notice. Ive been so lazy though, ive still only cleaned one caliper, so it will be a while before they make it to paint haha

I was going to ask about the progress! I think black or silver is best for standard calipers. You kinda need brembo/aftermarket calipers and nice wheels to do a bright/stand out colour.
