That does look awesome actually!!! But here is a silly question... what is dupli-color?

I want something to paint with a brush so it's more controlled and paint only the areas i want!

How about no colour? If it's not a monobloc, it'll look 'wannabe'/'try-hard' when painted red or any other 'attention-seeking' colour. That's just my opinion. How about cast aluminum or iron for a subtle 'natural' finish?

I ended up spraying mine because it kept rusting for some reason. At first I was goin to finish it in 'cast aluminum' but it ended up with 'cast iron'. I'll post photos up soon.

If you get them back to bare metal via sandblasting or however you choose you can always clear coat them to prevent rust etc.

I indeed would have sandblasted them if had stripped them down completely for a rebuild. I've heard the clear coat turns a tinge yellow over time. The cast iron finish was actually for my Dad's valve amplifier but I kinda liked the colour so I kept spraying more...
