side badges?

Postby Elbus » Tue Jan 07, 2014 10:20 am

Hey everyone,
Just wondering what the general reaction would be to putting liberty badges on the back of the skirts on my soobie just before the rear wheels?
Not sure how it would look since I can't master photoshop
Any input would be much appreciated :D

There's one way to find out whether you like them

have you removed the badge from the boot already? A bit of double sides tape and a bit of aligning could look alright. Something different anyways

Maybe try and do it in paintshop first... or print off some badges on paper and blutack them to your car.

Not something id do, but definitely not the stupidist idea ive heard! Will be something different.

Diversion from the topic, Aidos - you should do a build thread man.. you seem to have done quite a bit to you car. Would be good to see it in detail.

They come off easy as, a little heat and bascially pry it off carefully

I didnt have to apply any additional heat as im in NT and its always hot, some people use heatgun or hairdryer and fishing line to help pull the tape up, i simply peeled each letter up from their edge with my fingernail if i remember correctly, on my commodore i think i used a very thin blade to lift the corners, after a good clean comes up a treat, i think my letters are floating around in one of my drawers somewhere, i had gotten the urge to stick inside the cabin somwhere like on the corner of the dash but never really bothered and then completely forgot, probably for the better
