Where does this grill belong?

hey guys,

bought this from japan parts and it does not fit my car. I own a 06 liberty 3.0R. which model liberty does it fit and what year grouping?

any help would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to sell this part.

How exactly does it not fit?

3.0R and 3.0R-B have the same front bar so should bolt up fine..

yep you would think so that's why I bought it but the holes where I have included the measurement in the top picture do not line up. off my about 1- 2 cm

MY07 model '06 or prefacelift car like the one pictured?

If prefacelift and the mounting holes are slightly out, then Id say its for a '07-'09 model. Pretty much the same size as your grill area?

yep its a pre face lift model, id say your on the money I have a 06 MY07. and yea the holes are out and its just slightly taller than my stock grill. the other thing is my stock grill has 4 mounting clip holes. this grill has 2. that should be evidence as to post facelift?

ok don't see how that's getting any closer to a solution. I know my car is a pre facelift. the grill does not fit.

Just figured you were confused since you said your car is a Pre-facelift MY07.

Prefacelift - MY04-06
Postfacelift - MY07-09

Confirming my previous question will help you out. As they are both different cars.

Only two holes on the outer of the grill for mounting = '07-'09 spec grill.
