...so within reason and considering I have 18" wheels, a mesh grille, after market tail lights, a front lip on the way from Japan and some coilovers in the making, tint, am not ICE orientated and have no real plans for power mods as yet (until the lease draws nearer to an end and I decide to keep the car) what would you suggest I ask of my lovely wife - yes, she is expecting car mods on the list - for my birthday. :D

I was thinking maybe a Cusco strut brace with brake booster (from Alan).

I have one week to work it out !

Congrats and happy birthday in advance! Since you pretty much have the appearance department all taken care of with the wheels and coilovers, may I suggest you dabble a bit in other items that will provide a bit of performance as well as looks/sound? So how about an exhaust or intake?

Otherwise if you do go with the handling department, may I recommend front and rear sway bars in combination with the strut bar? Or if you had to narrow it down, just the sways? They will make a huge difference in handling to match with the grip of the wheels and the lower centre of gravity from the coilovers.

Thanks, Jason. You, Phat, Phil, Leo, Trieu, and the other Funeral boys have really helped me get started as well as understand what each mod does and how it benefits me and what I'm looking for. :nyam:

I'm at a point now where I can hopefully spread the wisdom you guys have imparted. I'm still quite the novice, but will help out where I can.

Kevlar, go the sways....

Not too expensive but you will be able to take corners and roundabouts so much better.

Advice from Jason and the crew which I should have taken sooner rather then later :)

Sway bars could be the go then. I'll check it out. Thanks fella's.

Smiley, you coming to the dyno day (3rd April, Ultimate Tunes)? I'll check out the coilovers and the strut brace there if you are. Heading to Orbost to see a mate this weekend.
