Would these rims fit ?

Hey guys im really eager to get a set of wheels for my car and after weeks of searching for the perfect rim I've decided to go with the Rota t2r, but im just worried about the offset as I don't really know much about how this works. They only come in +35 in the size I want, would that be okay ? Or do I have to do major work to fit them or maybe just rolling guards ? I want that stance look but don't want them sticking out too much. I've got a set of BC's on my car now. Let me know what you guys think :)

So you're going the +38 18x9.5?

How low will your car be? Are you running a camber kit in the rear and camber adj at the front?

Roll guards, stretched tyres (running 225/40 will help the scrubbing) and around 3 degrees negative camber all round and the scrubbing will be bearable.

Here's a website that'll help you visualise what it'll look like

Get a tape measure, go out to your car, and measure 50mm from where your wheels are currently. That's where the t2r will sit, obviously depending on how much camber you run.

Yeah just went out and measured it, 50mm is okay but maybe will go 30mm. I've got no camber adjustment on the back and I was going to definately run stretched tyres

50mm extra poke is excessive without camber....

I run 1.5 degrees all round with 18x9 +42 (38mm more poke than stock) which brings the wheel flush with the guard and it still scrubs in most big dips in the road. Mind you I'm tucking tyre..

Definitely reccomend rear camber bushes, Whiteline KCA399, gives you +/- 1.5 degrees, pretty handy when you need that little bit of adjustment.

How low is your car going to be ??

Okay so camber the rear, I want around 20mm clearance from the tyre to the guard

Yes.... I told you up there ^ get a measuring tape, and measure 50mm from your stock wheels. You'll be poking at least 20mm outside the guard.

Well I didn't have camber but I ran 18x8.75 +35mm on standard height and I drew the line when bits started falling off.
There are about 10+ threads about how the XXR's don't work, I'm not sure why people don't use the search function.
