Hi everyone,
Looking to get the XXR 527 in 18" for my Liberty GTB 07, however the offset is a bit ridiculous...
Just wondering if anyone has got these wheels before and what they look like before and after the guards have been rolled?
I'm sure these wheels have been covered in other threads but it wont let me search for "XXR 527" because each word must be 4 characters or more...

What offset? 18x8.75 +35 aren't they?
It's definitely been covered before. By nick and kody I think..
Are you prepared to run camber + guard rolling and maybe flaring/pulling?
Also what is your ride height? Coilovers?

Yeah I had them for a while. Standard height, no camber and flared/pulled guards.
Nick had coilovers and some camber I believe.
We both got rid of them, the fitment just didn't work for the Liberty.

excellent! Thanks everyone for your tips!
Yeah my ride is fully standard ATM... but willing to roll the guards if necessary...
They're such hot wheels, its just a pity they stick out like dogs balls!
Kody, what did you mean by the "fitment" didn't work?

I can not attest to how much camber Nick was running, but I believe we both got rid of them due to scrubbing.
I know with my car, the plastic piece in between the wheel and the rear door kept popping out and getting twisted so I'd have to heat it back into shape

That width/offset will look silly at stock height imo..

Zac's right. It looks ridiculous at stock height. See the pic below.
I think if you run enough camber you will be right, they are definitely a nice wheel, don't be disheartened if you really want them.

hhmmm.... yeah I'll need to get coilovers and roll the guards first. but need to move place first, as my driveway in the apartment block scrapes at standard height! Oh man... what a mission just for wheels!
Any other wheels you guys recommend? I was looking at the Tenzo R Cuzco's in 19" as well...

What do you guys reckon, with these XXR wheels on an outback?
I just bought an 08 3.0r yesterday, and im looking around for some wheels that will give it an even more wide beefy look.
I’m planning to leave it at stock height, will these sit flush with the flared guards with no issues ?

hey guys
Sorry to bump an old thread
I recently bought a set of 527's and now wanna chuck some tyres on
will a 235/40/18 setup work at stock height without guard pulling? I am willing to roll, but just dont want to have to pull
Also, if i lower it on some BC BR's, will i need to pull? or is a roll just fine?
Thanks!
Jon
