There's a guide floating around to help you figure out if the rim/tyre combo you want will work with your liberty.
http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/faq-offsets-sizes-rims-and-tires-gt-xenonk-version-4426.html

At stock height those wheels will poke out a fair bit, others on legacygt have lowered their cars on those rims and just had to roll the fenders + run camber to be able to fit them.

Check out that link and look about 1/4 of the way down the page, there's a chick running XXR's, and it details her setup.

Good luck to you dude

Sorry to bump an old thread
I recently bought a set of 527's and now wanna chuck some tyres on

will a 235/40/18 setup work at stock height without guard pulling? I am willing to roll, but just dont want to have to pull

Also, if i lower it on some BC BR's, will i need to pull? or is a roll just fine?

Thanks!

Jon

you could always check mine. been thinking of 235's myself, it's possible but needs to be higher height, otherwise you'll have to pull a little if i/you insist on being lowww. Plus a bit of chopping and cabletie-ing.

the rears can do with the factory stuff but the fronts use the bc br camber tops. its not a lot and it wont be insane camberwear either. 225 are a comfy size, havnt had any trouble with cops with them
