Cyber r t2 or hippo sleek eyelids

Postby circlethesky » Tue Apr 02, 2013 4:53 pm

Hi guys, anyone have any pictures of silver libertys with these eyelids?

Image

I could only find them on a blue wagon on here, I'm trying to decide between these and the hippo sleek. Thanks!

Can you still get hippo sleek parts? I heard they stop making them like 6 years agp

Are those both prefacelift only? I might eventually try some different eyelids other than the K2 ones but want a slim one like hippo sleek.

They're on japanparts.com and I've emailed garage88 about them so as far as I know you can still get them.

Though I've just had a look for the facelift models of both eyelids and can't seem to find them, so you must be right.

Unfortunately they look like they're both only available for pre facelift. There has to be some similar ones around for the facelift models though.

That's it! I stalked through all of your posts to get as many angles that I could find, they seem to be the only pictures of them that exist on the internet.

How thick would you say they are compared to the hippo sleek? (if you have seen them up close)

Who is Sean? I'm still new here.

Also that blue looks amazing on your car, absolutely love it.

Seanmau5 I think is his user name.

From memory Simon ( SH30RB ) has the hippo sleek one or he was planning on getting them.

The cyber R eyelids are definitely the slimmest of the lot.

I love how aggressive they look.
If you get the chance some close ups would be great, I mainly want to know how much they stick out and get an idea of how thick they are.
More angles would be really awesome, thanks Sean.

Simply put, if you want subtlety then they are the way to go.. Kieran had K2 gear on his and they were quite noticeable. Is your car white or silver?

I will take some photos when I get home if it isn't too dark or miserable. I've got a front on shot for now which kind of shows you the thickness.

My car is silver. Subtlety is what I'm going for with them, just having a hard time deciding between them and the hippo sleek because I can't find any pictures of them on a silver car.
Don't worry too much about taking pictures today, just if you're out with it this weekend and happen to remember I think a shot of them from the back so I can see how much they protrude over the bonnet would be perfect.
