Tail Light Suggestions for a Pre-Facelift Wagon

Postby jay.ritchie » Wed Mar 06, 2013 3:16 pm

Hey guys,

I'm after everyone suggestions and opinions for a new set of tail lights for a BLACK pre-facelift wagon.

I don't like the plain boring red lights- I really prefer the tail lights and rear garnish of the face-lifted wagons, although I'm pretty sure the 07+ lights won't fit on pre-facelift wagon? Correct? *EDIT* (Yes, they fit)
I've checked out the Mars tail lights, and i like the smoked ones, but i don't think they suit a car that isn't black. (unless my entire car was blacked out- which its not).
What are peoples opinions on the red/white Mars tail lights? Taking in mind they need to go on a black car.

Let me know if i have any other options!

Post-face lights definitely fit.. Though I think there is a tiny gap or something... Quite a few guys have done it.

Do you know who? I'd Like to see a photo or two of it done! interesting to see if the badge and reverse lights line up with the white of the tail lights

Best looking aftermarket tail light is a Gialla LED one IMO.

Not a fan of how the Valenti and Hanabi flip the positons of the lights.

Yeah the Gialla's look nice on your car. I have a feeling that they look a lot better on white/silver/charcoal...
Yes to black as well?

Id say yes as they have the almost black indicator section and black edge around the red.

Haha not yet.
I'm tossed up between gialla's and the facelift tails.
I guess it depends on what I can get my hands on easier

I personally think post face tails will be easier and cheaper to get your hands on. Gialla, not so much, even though they are an awesome design
