Hi everyone.

I have had my liberty for a few months now, and I am starting to eye up a few goodies. The simplest and cheapest (supposedly) bits for me at the moment are a few styling modifications. I am going for a tweak to the classic sleek look of what these cars already are, just to make it a bit more individual to me.

I have this inspiration of making it a kinda storm cloud, a dark grey machine with a few glints of light silver! and maybe a rumble too from the exhaust but thats a different story...

Anyways I been eyeing up two parts on Japan parts website and wanted some advice and opinions on this company and brand. Also if anyone knows of good alternatives that I can source parts from and look at the range!

Has anyone used Liberal before?
Does anyone know somewhere good in Perth to get the sprayed to colour code them with my paint job?
Also any ideas on fittings etc?

thanks peeps. I have looked through the Ultrex site and they have a few items there of interest but I though I would peek at something a little different and the range there seemed very stock extra's rather than unique designs for the lip. However I seen that fibreglass front grill for $180, that's a good price.

Does anyone know of a good body shop in Perth for painting things? I thought about getting some sprays made up and spraying the parts myself. I done similar things before but not with car parts!

Just starting to look into this more seriously now as I will have a bit of dollar!

Has anyone ordered from japan parts that can share their experience with me? The shipping seems like a bit of a pain from what I am reading plus it is pretty expensive.

Do they make it pretty easy to just buy stuff and have it shipped or is it complicated??

Honestly.. Japanparts is simple to buy off and cheap to buy off too.

I bought my Corazon grille from JP for $395 landed when they had a sale, had an expected shipping time of 3 weeks and it arrived after 6 days.

I have placed two orders with them - one was received right away and the other still hasn't shipped (despite it being placed earlier). It depends on the stock levels.

Prices are OK, and purchasing is easy.

Cool, thats good to know people have had pretty good experience with them. When I read stuff about the customs and it is the buyers responsibility too pay the taxes not included in freight and all that stuff I thought it might have been a head ache!

Tax is payable on shipments of $1000 and over, I frequently buy stuff from the US to the value of $1000 all the while escaping paying tax on it.

It is a styling mod, but it's something that makes the car unique to me!

I can also vouch for Japanparts...have bought from them a number of times.
Actually, just bought something from them last week....

Shipping can be exy, but they are good to deal with - strong service ethic.

FYI - there are generally no returns/refunds...

Never had a problem with Japanparts

Well, I have ordered a front lip for my baby lol. It is going to come painted the colour I want so it will be just a matter of fitting it...

Now.... Who can recommend the best way to go about fitting these? Screw? Body glue? both??

I know... duct tape.... lol

Seriously though, what is the best way for these things to be mounted in peoples experience?
