That looks great :good: Is the "subaru" a stencil or a sticker?

It's a sticker.

Those brakes aren't refurbished, they are painted

Yer a sticker. Going to see how it holds up with heat and dust.

And sorry didn't mean to offend.

Why two threads?

Spray painting on the car = to much overspray on things that shouldnt be painted. Unless you spend copious time masking out.

Was by accident I posted twice. Stupid iPhone. Yer I haven't had experience bleeding brakes etc so was a bit nervous. I do agree with you about removing them but thinking about upgrading to brembos eventually. Although the GT brakes do the job for me at the moment

Looks really good considering they were never taken off the car.

Though having such nice rims it just doesn't seem to fit having a non-perfect 100% paint job on the brakes.

Edit: What colour will you get the brembos in?

Yeah can understand that. Think it needs some touch up work. Also some of the overspray will hopefully come off with a drive as the car hasn't left the garage yet. Can't notice too many blemishes so I'm pretty happy. I'm not completely anal about these kinds of things but also like a good job so ill probably have a play around with them

I really like cast aluminium with the brembos. The red has grown on me love it when they're bright. I reckon yellow with black decals would look pretty smick ;)

I did mine exactly the same, except black.
I sprayed the caliper paint into the lid and hand painted them still on the car with a fine brush.
Then sprayed a clear coat over the top, 2 years on, no problems :D

Yeh I had these painted with killrust before but didn't really like the brush marks. Probably wasn't using the best brush either. But the paint was a bit dull so I'm really stoked with how these turned out :)
