I'm thinking about doing the Spec B front bar swap. Has anyone done it before?
Wouldn't mind a bit of guidance as to what bits I need and what I don't need...

Havent heard of any1 doing it. You do mean the spec b for ur model right, not the MY07 spec b?

Let's just say the iMac is still on my list... just rearranged, that's all...
and plus, I came across this front bar pretty darn cheaply... and it's silver, too, so I can put it on s traight away!
(but it's got scratches so it'll look ghetto
)

What you'll need are a few of the mounts, clips and a new grill.

I'm fairly sure the grille I have is already the Spec.B one, it's different to the other ones I've seen around.
Clips - just get from Subaru? Same type as the ones that are holding on my current front bar?
I've got the foglight brackets already.

No, it isn't.
The spec B grill is bigger for the pre 07 models - it will not fit with the std (non spec b) bumper.

Actually the most expensive part will be the grille. I am getting the front bar and STi lip at a good price
but you can't get the pre-facelift Spec.B here in Aus... not the 2.0GT front, anyway...
