Repairing Enkei's - Perth

Postby Grrl » Mon Jul 23, 2012 11:59 am

It would appear that the previous owner of my car was less than careful when parking the car  ... quite a bit of gutter rash on two of the wheels that need some attention. Looking for recommendations for Perth repairers to fix these wheels... and any rough idea of cost?
Thanks!

Maj3sticCr0w is a perth member, he has previously posted that he was quoted $200 for rim repair, sandblasting and powdercoating...maybe ask him where he ended up getting it done if at all.

Also, depending on which colour you want your rims it could be more expensive. If that is your rim in your DP that means you have the shadow chrome STI enkeis...that colour is usually double the price compared to the charcoal...

Theres alliance rim repairs, they aren't cheap but will do a proper job. There's also a group that will do them for $60 a rim but you need to take your Tyres off form them and leave it with them for a few days. Pending if your car is a daily driver that could be an issue! Let me know how you go!

Also looking at getting mine done with the works (repair, spray and clear coat).

From my research Alliance is the best place to go to and one of the only in Perth that do everything.
Having also seen Adam's wheels in the flesh, i am most likely going to them when i have the coin too!

Also going to ask my local tyre place when i get new rubber tomorrow if they know of anyone decent so will get back if they suggest someone decent.

Had some rims fixed at Alliance, pretty good work.

Now is the chance to get them sprayed that colour you have always wanted....

Good luck

As people have already mentioned one of the only places in perth is alliance. Not the cheapest or best customer support but quality job. I had all 5 of mine refurb'd and sprayed gun metal grey and they still look mint. Cost is about $170-220 for repair and paint depending on the finish your after.

Cheers guys for the info... Seems there isn't a lot of repairers to choose from in Perth! Might have to wait till I take leave next, as I'm not really in the position to take time off work to drive to Malaga. Gives me a bit of time to consider whether I want to go down the path of a colour change or not.

Hi Anna look into "smart finish". He's a mobile guy that does run repairs and small paint touch ups/dent removal.

He fixed up the gutter rash on my old na but I don't think he paints that's all.

Nice bloke too!
