Hi all,

So I want to get some darker tail lights for my MY08 GTB Wagon and I really want these:

I think they should fit ok and I'm thinking of going for the darkest tinted ones at the bottom? Would these be too dark to be legal? If anyone has them, have you ever been hassled by the cops?

The other question i have is aimed at all those who have a set of Valenti lights - How did you go about getting them and what was the cost?

Got them myself too! Nice black on black look I ordered them direct from valenti and when i did they told me the had discontinued the blacked out version of the light. There were only 3 or so sets in their factory stores so I snapped a set up real quick! Fitment is pure quality! no issues (other than changing the LED flasher module) and havent been bothered by the cops about them yet. that includes being followed by cop cars for a reasonable ammount of time and going through breath test stops and such. From memory they were around the $400 mark. Go for them and dont look back!

So you ended up with the darkest ones? How long ago did you get them, I guess the remaining few would be gone by now? And one final question, how do you order direct from valenti - i cant speak japanese lol.

Sorry! I'm actually telling fibs! I checked out my email trail and it was a company called TWP trade that dealt with valenti for me. It was about 3 months ago now I think. Send em an email on sales@twptrade.com have hope you may still be in luck!

What issues did you have with the LED flasher module? Does it come with the lights?

yeah they send along 2 of them cos I think the jap ones are different to the australian ones in terms of voltage supply. The plug will only fit in one of them so thats an easy solution to one problem. The flasher is near the fuse box under the steering wheel and the plastic clip it sits on to hold it in place is an absolute pain in the ass to undo!

Ok, sound like its do-able though. Hopefully theres some sort of instructions.

Just a follow up:

My tailights arrived a few weeks ago and i'm very happy with them. Only took a week in the post and installation was very easy (the flasher module a little trickier). The fit is perfect and they work fine. Well worth it IMO.

They look so good! Definitely going on my want list

Looks awesome, I have a set saved in my watch list on eBay for a similar price just saving the cash to get them. Want them more now that I've seen them on your car.
