Leather touch up.....

Postby cruisn » Sun Feb 12, 2012 1:51 pm

There were a few scuff marks on the leather of the Outback and being the picky prick I am, I had to rectify it.

I found a product from eBay USA and decided to give it a shot, its cheap anyway. The seller was very helpful, even sending me a color chart with real leather samples to match to my cars leather.

Tried it today and I must say, extremely happy with the end result. So easy to apply also.

The kit...... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/170452639051#ht_2266wt_1163

Awesome! Thanks for the info.

Cleaned the leather seats in my car on Saturday morning and noticed that the bolster on the drivers side has a few small knicks in it.

Interesting, how do you think this stuff would go on steering wheels? My steering wheel is in rather average condition (and the bolsters aren't great) so would be very keen on this..

Anyone know which kit would be for factory black MY04 GT Premium?

Bugger. Oh well. It's only a few $ posted.

Assuming they send you swatches which are particular to your leather colour?

Just to renew this thread (sorry, guys) - given it has been a few months, are you all still happy with the results?

Also, the car I've just picked up has some white marks on the black leather. I've tried a couple of cleaners to no avail - do you think this would this cover things up?

cheers,

bj

Yep still happy. Its really cleaned the inside up.

I may get another slightly darker one though as this is a touch lighter than my oem color. Still great though. :good:
